-The NBE consists of the Arts and Sciences Exams.
-Candidates must graduate from an ABFSE accredited mortuary science program with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree.
-As of January 1, 2023, candidates can also become eligible by meeting requirements set by state licensing board.

Due to law changes, the Arkansas Laws, Rules, and Regulations (AR LRR) exam is currently being updated. Testing will be paused until the exam update is complete, which is tentatively scheduled for August 1, 2022. If you currently have an application on file, you are able to schedule an exam for after that date.
